Nancy Ricker Rhett is a watercolor artist who works from her studio in Beaufort, South Carolina. Her realistic style has developed over the last thirty years of intensive work. This has resulted in several dozen one man shows, awards, magazine articles and book illustrations. Her subject matter ranges from seascapes and landscapes to botanical and architectural studies and portraits of people and animals. Primarily self-taught, she is a fourth-generation artist who has produced more than six thousand paintings and miniatures. Her prints and originals are now in public and private collections worldwide including the Reagan Library.
